So I emailed my agency today to get an update. No new news. No new nothing! We are now officially #9 on the waiting list. At least we are in the single digits. We are hoping to hear something in the next few weeks. Our agency did say if we were not in the next batch of referrals we will not get on before the cut off date of September 1st. So our only hope would be if Vietnam extended the cut off date. There is a chance that it might happen but I would much rather have our match before then. So keep your fingers crossed!

All work and no play.....
Makes Jess a cranky girl!! I have been so busy for the last few weeks but this past weekend i got a break. T and I went home to my parents house for the weekend. Tracy was invited by my dad to play in the 3-day member-guest tournament at their country club. Tracy had a great time and while he was golfing i got to spend some time with my friend Wiz (her name is really Liz but when my brother was little he couldn't say his L's so he called her Wiz and it kind-of stuck). It was so nice to get away for a few days. But all good things come to an end. Today we found out that another one of our bank owned listings had all the copper stolen out of it and all the windows smashed. So tomorrow i will be calling the Police department again so i can get a police report so the bank can file a claim with their insurance company. This will be the third time in about 2 weeks that i have had to call the police. For any of you looking to get into the real estate business run don't walk but run away. OK i cant complain i kind of like calling the police. It's like being on Cops! and some of them are really cute. Don't tell my husband i said that.

What a day
Today was one of those days where you wake up and think "maybe I should go back to bed" but in the end I just get up because the dog has to go out. As I look back on my day...i should have stayed in bed! I was about to leave the house and Tracy called to say that we had to go to one of our foreclosure listings (we work for a few major lending institutions selling their forclosed properties) to meet the sherif so we could evict the former owners. Turns out that the former owners are mostly moved out of their house so no drama there but they left behind a cat who looked like it had not been fed in several days. Tracy wanted to leave her there but I insisted that we take her to a shelter. We had to drive about 20 minutes out of the way to drop off the cat. If it had been any longer we would have become a 2 car household instead of a 1 cat house. She was the sweetest cat I have ever seen. The whole time in the car she sat in my lap. After we got back to the office Tracy said we had to go to another foreclosed property to take pictures of it and get it ready to post online for sale. When Tracy opened the door he saw a man trying to run out the back. We both flew off the porch and ran to the car. Tracy didn't even have a chance to get the key out of the door. Since we cant leave a property without securing it we had to go back and at least lock the front door, scary man inside or not. As he was trying to get the key out of the door the man told Tracy that he was just taking a nap and not to call the police on him .Of course I was already on the phone with the Worcester PD. The man left and we went inside. The house could have been nice...had all the copper still been in it! So we had to wait around for the police to come so they could fill out a report for the stolen copper. Like I said I should have stayed in bed!
