Sun???

It feels like it's been forever since we have seen the sun around here.
For the past week it's either been snowing or poring rain.
I am never one to complain about the winter. I usually like the winter. But this year it seems like the winter is way longer then normal. Probably because Maizie and I don't go out when the weather is bad. I feel cabin fever setting in! We finally got out of the house on Saturday so I could buy a new computer. I bought a Mac and so far I love it! I don't know why I didn't buy this
a year ago! The Internet is so fast, it doesn't take 15 minutes to upload 5 pictures to blogger, no pop-ups!! Did I mention how much I love my Mac?! Anyway here are some pictures from a few weeks ago...the last time we saw the sun.

These are a few from Chinese New Year. When we were in China we bought Maizie a few traditional dresses. It's still a little big. She had a lot of fun twirling with the skirt on.

Chinese New Year

Yesterday we ventured over to Chinatown to watch the Lion Dance Parade and celebrate Chinese New Year. We had a great time and Maizie really loved it. There was so much going on I really didn't know how she was going to react but she did so well. There were drums banging, cymbals and a ton of firecrackers. We kept trying to cover her ears but she just wanted to take it all in. We met up with some friends and had an amazing lunch. It was hands down the best Chinese food we have had since being in China. After we left Boston we drove to my sister-in-laws to see her new ring! That's right she's engaged!!! Congrats Angie and Chris!!!

My Funny Valentine

Everyday Maizie does something (well many things) that make me laugh. I know I have mentioned before how much she loves her Kiki well she also loves her Kodi...but the feeling definitely isn't mutual. Most of the time we keep them separated but sometimes we just have to give in and let them play. Mai loves to sit on his bed and lean on him. Poor Kodi has a look on his face like "come save me please".

Maizie loves to sleep with the covers over her face. Usually they are pulled up over her head.

Maizie LOVES shoes. I mean she really really loves them. She plays with her shoes everyday. I usually line them up by the wall and everyday she has to put them on top of the speaker in a little pile.

She still loves her Lemur that we got in Florida (which is know known as Leeme). She drags him all over the house and likes to give him rides on her Kai-Lan car. She always put Leeme on the steering wheel. I try to show her how to put him on the seat but she insists on the steering wheel.

Last week we celebrated our 5 month anniversary. I cant believe it has only been 5 months. I don't remember what we did before her.

new toy

Maizie and I took a little trip to Target today. Usually she like to stand up in the cart or run around the store but today she was a very good girl and actually sat in the cart. Since she was being such a good girl I decided she needed a new toy. To say she loves her tunnel is an understatement. She played it in non-stop for at least 30 minutes. After I set it up and she went though it for the first time she came over to me and gave me a kiss! I love my girl. She really has turned in to a sweet loving little girl.

Yelling because she just cant contain her excitement!

Taking a little rest.

I think this one is my favorite.

Looking out the window at Daddy.

I don't think she wants to get out!

Putting her head down to do "nice" to the tunnel.

Even Kiki wanted to get in on the fun (I couldn't get a good picture). Maizie thought it was very funny when Kiki went in her tunnel.
