Poor Kiki

I know I have mentioned before how much Maizie loves her Kiki (kitty) but poor Kiki doesn't really feel the same. Here's a little insight in to what goes on in Kiki's life several times a day.

Kiss

A few weeks a go Maizie started giving us kisses. Now she is like a kissing bandit! She loves to pucker up and give us a big wet kiss.

She also likes to kiss us through the stair rails. Although this one could just be her pouting because it's bed time.

She loves watching Kodi and looking for him when he's outside. She will stand there for a while just watching him.

The other night Maizie went to bed at her normal time (7) but then was wide awake at 8:15 (which sometimes happens). It was the first night of American Idol and since she was wide awake and she loves music we got her up. She LOVED it. She was dancing and laughing. Here she was sitting on Tracy's arm bouncing up and down to the music...if you could call it that.

Vacation

For Christmas my parents bought us plane tickets so we could all be together in Florida for a little vacation. Now I have to say that this is the first year they have ever invited us down to Florida with them. I think they really just wanted Maizie. :)

The first day we got there was nice and the next morning was warm but by the time Mai got up from her nap it was starting to get cold and continued to be cold (and by cold I mean in the 50-60's during the day and in the 30's at night) for most of our vacation. It was very sunny though.

Our first day we went for a walk to the park and then down by the river.

But she still isn't sure about the slide.

On Monday we went to the Naples Zoo. Maizie really had a good time. She loves cats and the zoo had a lot of big cats.

We couldn't tear Mai away from this leopard. It was just walking back and forth in front of the window of it's enclosure.

She also really liked the black bears.

On our way out of the zoo we stopped at the gift shop. We let Maizie pick out something and she choose Lemur. Lemur is the first stuffed animal/doll she has attached too. And let me tell you she loves Lemur. She hasn't really let Lemur out of her sight and even shares her bottle and O's with Lemur.

On Friday it was finally warm enough to go swimming again.

A while ago my dad taught Maizie how to kick a ball. Now it's one of her favorite things to do. She loved playing by the "big pool" with her ball.

And just because she is so so cute. I love when she comes over to me and looks up at me with a little smirk.

Resolutions

So one of my new years resolution was to blog once a week. It's week 2 and i am already a week behind. So I am going to try to blog twice this week.

A few weeks before Christmas Maizie wanted to play in her diaper box. She played in the box for about 20 minutes....

but once she was done...she was done.

And even though she has a room full of toys she would rather play with mommy's slippers.

Kodi has really been good with Maizie lately. Kodi loves to "nip". He does it to the cat, me, Tracy and now Maizie. It doesn't hurt at all (unless he nips at skin and then sometimes it pinches a little). Maizie LOVES it. She laughs and laughs. We make sure he only nips her clothing and not skin.
